Aarhus University (AU) is the second largest university in Denmark and internationally for pioneering research. The Department of Clinical Medicine at AU is Denmark’s largest health science institute with active research projects within most medical specialties, including radiotherapy and cardiology. In 2019, AU ranked as number 108 at the Leiden Ranking, number 145 at the QS World University Ranking, and number 115 of 17,000 universities on the Times Higher Education World University Ranking. AU has a well-established Research Support Office with extensive expertise in EU project management, including financial reporting, reports to EU, support for monitoring project activities and meetings, communication with the funder, follow-up, and quality control of reports. AU has participated in 295 FP7 and 335 H2020 projects – 21 and 35, respectively, as coordinator – and has hosted/is currently hosting 54 ERC projects.

Prof. Stine Sofia Korreman

Prof. Stine Sofia Korreman is Professor in Medical Physics, she is a medical physicist at AU/AUH and group leader for the research group in computational medical physics. In addition, Prof. Korreman is the deputy director of the Danish National Radiotherapy Research Center.

 

Ph.D. Jasper Nijkamp

Ph.D. Jasper Nijkamp is an associate professor in experimental particle physics who will be involved in the WP5 projects on auto-segmentation of cardiac sub-structures.
